Summary:
To provide support in monitoring all aspects of quality and food safety related to the production of food items by inspecting the product and auditing processes and documentation on an ongoing basis to ensure the product is being produced within specifications, food safety requirements and company standards.
Location:Oregon (Ashland)
1. Verifies and audits operator quality checks at control points in the production process.
2. Reports quality and food safety findings to supervisor for non-conformances and corrections, and assists with corrective actions when needed.
3. Audits finished products relative to specifications and legalities, and reports non-conformance.
4. Conducts or verifies sanitation procedures and completion of tasks.
5. Monitors equipment settings and verifies with recommended settings.
6. Follows all Food Safety guidelines including: GMPs, allergen programs, HACCP, Sanitation, Safety.
7. Performs other tasks as assigned.
High school diploma or GED with two to three years experience in food process quality control or baking industry; or
College degree in food sciences/baking sciences with one year experience in quality control in the food industry.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
